Second Watch

The doctor who stayed.

A personal physician advocate and companion for people facing serious illness, injury, or a hard season alone — in the US and Canada.

A doctor in your corner — around the clock

Navindra Ramdeen, DO consults directly with your doctors, insurers, and hospitals; attends appointments at your side; translates every option into plain language; and watches for errors, delays, and overbilling. What he offers is total, personal, unwavering advocacy, and true companionship. When a client needs him in person, he travels to them (travel and lodging covered by the client) and stays at their residence for up to a week at a time — watching over recovery and coordinating the whole care team at home. He is also available to help young people under 18 — always, and only, with a parent or legal guardian present at every step.

From the founder

“I lost everything once — an exploitative marriage that ended after eight months, alcohol, charges, jail, my license. Then came rigorous, state-mandated rehabilitation, and fourteen years sober. I know exactly what it is to face the worst season of your life with no one in your corner. My clients never face theirs alone.”
